Twelve picks. Eleven NFL games, one WNBA playoff game, and a slate that started with breakfast in London and ended in Kansas City. @DayeDaye74 put $4 into The Main Event on Wanna Parlay, watched all 12 legs hit on Sunday, October 4, and finished 2nd out of 3,548 entries for a $2,000 payout.

That’s a 500x return on a single NFL parlay. The best part is how they got there: four underdogs with points, and all four of them won the game outright.

Meet the Player

@DayeDaye74, repping Texas, is not new to this column’s shortlist. Back in June they hit a 13-leg, five-sport parlay for $1,000. This time they stuck mostly to football and doubled it. Some people catch lightning once. @DayeDaye74 apparently keeps it in a jar.

The Parlay: 12 Legs, One Sunday

The London Opener: Colts Moneyline vs. Commanders

The day started at 9:30 a.m. ET at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Washington held the Colts to 20 total yards in the first quarter and led 6-0, which is not what you want to see on leg one. Then Marcus Mariota went down after a sack, Jonathan Taylor scored twice, and Indianapolis ran away with it, 30-13.

Leg 1: ✅

The Comeback: Rams Moneyline at Eagles

This was the leg that should have broken the parlay. The Rams trailed 20-10 at halftime in Philadelphia after two Matthew Stafford interceptions, and they were still down 10 in the fourth quarter. Then Nick Sirianni passed on a short field goal that would have made it 23-10 and went for it on fourth down instead. The Eagles didn’t convert. Kyren Williams scored two touchdowns in the final four minutes, and the go-ahead score came with 1:10 left. Rams 24, Eagles 20.

Philadelphia went 0-for-12 on third downs. @DayeDaye74 went 2-for-2 so far.

Leg 2: ✅

Four Underdogs, Four Outright Wins

Here’s where this parlay goes from good to ridiculous. @DayeDaye74 took four teams with points on the spread, and none of them needed the points.

  • Patriots +6.5 at Bills. New England went into Highmark Stadium and won 29-26, handing Buffalo its first loss of the season.
  • Jaguars +2.5 at Bengals. Joe Burrow threw for 428 yards, but he also threw two interceptions, and Jacksonville held off a late Cincinnati push to win 22-17.
  • Giants +2.5 vs. Cardinals. The Giants won 36-24 and moved to 3-1.
  • Cowboys +7.5 at Texans. Dallas won the Battle for Texas outright at NRG Stadium, and Houston fell to 0-4.

Spread picks are one of the biggest differences between Wanna Parlay and the player-prop-only DFS apps. On Wanna, you can build a parlay with spreads, moneylines, game totals and player props in the same entry. @DayeDaye74’s whole card shows why that matters: they found value on the spread four times, and that’s where the 500x came from.

Legs 3 through 6: ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅

The Favorites Held Serve

The rest of the early window was about not overthinking it.

  • Bears moneyline vs. Jets. Caleb Williams was out with a hamstring injury, so Tyson Bagent started. Chicago won 23-12 anyway.
  • Ravens moneyline vs. Titans. Baltimore won 24-18.
  • Packers moneyline at Buccaneers. Green Bay won a close one, 17-14.

Legs 7 through 9: ✅ ✅ ✅

The WNBA Detour: Breanna Stewart Over 11.5 Points

In the middle of an NFL Sunday, @DayeDaye74 added one WNBA semifinal pick. The Liberty lost Game 1 to the Dream 92-82, but Breanna Stewart scored 19 points, with 9 of them in the fourth quarter, plus 3 blocks and 3 steals. The line was 11.5, so the result of the game didn’t matter.

Leg 10: ✅

The Late Window: Vikings and Chiefs

Two legs left, two moneylines, and nothing came easy. Minnesota beat Miami 15-10 in a game that stayed tight all afternoon. Kansas City then closed out the parlay against Las Vegas by three points, 30-27, and both teams stayed unbeaten.

Legs 11 and 12: ✅ ✅

Why This Parlay Worked

@DayeDaye74 didn’t load up on longshots. Most of the card was favorites, with four spread picks on underdogs where the points gave them some protection. Every one of those underdogs won outright, and the Rams came back from 10 down in the fourth quarter.

These games are over, so please don’t copy these picks for this week. Copy the approach instead: mix favorites you trust with spread picks on underdogs you believe in. On Wanna Parlay, you can put all of those pick types into one entry.

And on Wanna Parlay, everything is public. @DayeDaye74’s picks are on their profile for anyone to see. If someone’s on a heater, go to their profile, see what they’re picking, and try to ride the hot streak.
