Four sluggers, four home run props, one $2 entry. @Dorc1x needed all four to go deep on the same night, and all four delivered, including one walk-off and one career milestone. The entry turned into $750, a 375x return.
Meet the Player
@Dorc1x, repping Georgia, who's put together one of the stronger runs on the app lately: net positive to the tune of $6,458 across 60 entries in the last five days. This ticket was the biggest single piece of it.
The Card: Four Swings, Four Home Runs
Kyle Schwarber, Nationals vs. Phillies
Schwarber hit his MLB-leading 45th home run of the season in the fifth inning, though it wasn't enough. Washington beat Philadelphia 6-3.
Kyle Schwarber to Hit a Home Run: Win.
Pete Alonso, Mets vs. Orioles
This is the one with the milestone attached. Alonso launched his 300th career home run, a tying shot in the ninth inning against his former team at his former ballpark, and got a curtain call from Mets fans on the road for it. Baltimore won it in 11 innings on Coby Mayo's inside-the-park homer, 7-5.
Pete Alonso to Hit a Home Run: Win.
Junior Caminero, Rays vs. Athletics
Caminero led off the ninth inning with an opposite-field walk-off homer, his second walk-off in four games and his 41st of the season, an AL best. Tampa Bay won 2-1 for their fourth straight victory.
Junior Caminero to Hit a Home Run: Win.
Fernando Tatis Jr., Rockies vs. Padres
Tatis Jr. went deep on the second pitch of the game, his 18th homer since the All-Star break. It wasn't enough to save the Padres, who lost to Colorado 9-3 despite three different San Diego hitters going deep.
Fernando Tatis Jr. to Hit a Home Run: Win.
Four legs, four home runs, four wins.
$2 In. $750 Out. Betting on Bats, Not Outcomes.
Every leg on this card was a pure home run prop, no moneylines, no team results attached. Tatis Jr.'s pick paid off even though his team lost. That's the appeal of a card built entirely around individual production: @Dorc1x didn't need to guess who'd win four different games, just which four hitters were about to do damage in them.
